Motivation

The success you want, is it really the success you want? The reason why we need to aim for success again.

by Didorphin 2021. 1. 7.

Let's learn about Gary Vaynerchuk's motivational lecture.

1. Don't try to look good to others right now.

I'll tell you why people who want to succeed can never achieve the success they want. They're mostly buying silly things. Do you know how many people bought their cars to actually show others?

Even though I really hate that behavior. I even buy things like that while in debt. In addition, they work in jobs they don't like. Because they have to earn money and ride a car of a specific brand.

So that people around you can envy you. Even if I hate it a lot. Do you understand how screwed they are? Likewise, many people live in many rooms, but only half of them are actually used.

Everyone is fundamentally trapped in a vortex. In a ridiculous whirlpool.

What I can't believe is that the money earned from the job is not enough and I know I have to get out of debt, but the problem is that I like the bloody position. It's good to see others and my parents are proud of it. And there are a million more reasons, but none of them is for yourself. So you have to change that freaking game.

For example, the Internet is one of the easiest ways. Anyone in the Internet can earn a year's salary of 50 million won even if they talk about peanut jam well. Do you know how amazing this is? eBay and these e-commerce markets can be developed and advanced because there is no Amazon in this country.

I'll give you a huge example. If you go to a special sale car at the five largest stores in Australia, buy things at a special price, come home, and upload pictures on eBay, most people sitting here can earn between 50 million won and 100 million won. Within a year. If you do that for 9 to 10 hours a day.

2. Don't be afraid of others' judgment.

The biggest reason why I was able to succeed is neither passion nor energy. This is because I saw the standards set by the world as an imbalance. Most people in the world want to be seen. Like you're a second Supreme/Adidas entrepreneur, Uber or Facebook entrepreneur. And he said he owed 40 million won and had a job that he hated.

I want to go to five big stores, buy special shelves, take pictures with my cell phone, post them on eBay, and send them to the post office when they're sold, and I'll be able to pay off the 40 million won debt and start my own business. Because others will judge themselves. It's scary. Because they don't seem to be a good thing for others to see.

Most people in the world like reality to fail and seem to succeed in others' eyes. Rather than looking bad for others' eyes as they succeed. This is a bloody fact. This question made me successful. "This is my life, but why do I have to live based on the standards others set?' Of course, this business method may be difficult in Korea, which uses various platforms that are too commercialized.

But the important point is that people who want to succeed only do what is good for others' eyes and want to succeed. Success certainly requires sacrifices accordingly. And one of the other scary things is that parents put a lot of pressure on their children. Abuse it and instill education into your child. So that other parents envy themselves. Even if it has nothing to do with the happiness of its children.

This system is really rotten and sad. And my success is because my parents raised me the opposite way. That way of education led me. So that I can do what I want. Although in the 90s, when American immigrant parents forced their children to get perfect scores. If you go to my Instagram, you can see my report card and it's a mess.

But the messed up report card led me here, and the other reasons are, first, I had a lot of adversity, starting with a blank sheet. Because the fastest people in life fail are those who have too many before the start. Second, I was able to breathe comfortably without other people's consciousness. What I'm doing right now is teaching the world the same. The way my parents taught me. I always feel guilty and grateful at the same time. They're always mixed.

If you think about how it was a success. That's why I use my reputation and the public's gaze to create a big shield for everyone. To change the perspective of seeing success. It feels like the biggest gift to me. A lot of people use my content to acknowledge themselves and help them do what they really want.
And what I want everyone to know, I already have enough. Long before it gained popularity. You don't have to attract viewers and make money.

The purpose I'm talking about now is not to sell something. What I'm doing is just to feel proud when I go home. While checking the emails of the people who were helped. I receive thousands of emails every day. One year ago,

I had a debt of 50 million won, but now I'm in a 300 million won business. I don't know why it took four and a half years.Until you try to say what you said.' So everyone has to understand what I'm saying, why.

3. "Garibee, why do you always say the same thing?"
"Then why don't you do it all the time?""

The reason why I repeatedly say the same thing and the reason why I believe it is that the world is all the same. Even if anyone has seen it 87 times, this moment could be the moment to actually feel it. And this is how everything happens. Everyone says that successful people always say similar things. That's right, but that's the best they can do and that's how their lives have changed.

If you don't understand yet, keep listening and thinking. As soon as the surrounding environment and their advice in your daily life sound more meaningful, all of their advice that has been repeated will be understood.

Everything is a difference in perspective. Whether you understand it now or not, many people say that the current era is the worst era ever, but listen carefully. The existing world is the best era in human history. But people are sitting and complaining about nonsense. To see him complain, he puts the wrong milk in his coffee and complains to the barista. What's funnier is that Wi-Fi has slowed a little below the average speed. People get angry at things like this. It's like you can feel the speed of Wi-Fi yourself.

Think about it carefully. What do you spend your time on? It's so absurdly amazing. I think these things are a lack of perspective for me. So I focus all my time on what really happens. Are the things I am trying to challenge and achieve right now what others are not trying to do? And humility. Emptying other people's eyes and thoughts. Long patience. No one has achieved anything truly meaningful in a day. Inherited property? Winning the lottery? It could happen. But 99.9% doesn't wake up.

Remember, opportunities are given equally to everyone. When you really start communicating with the world. What I recommend to everyone is to concentrate on empathy. Do you want to succeed in your life? Find what empathy is. And practice. It's something I can't teach. Just put it in your head.

The reason I succeeded in my business is because I only thought about the listeners and customers. Not for me, but for the other person. This is 100% a way to succeed. The reason my company and organization have a good environment is because I work for 900 them. Not that they're working for me. The biggest mistake people make is that when you become a manager in a company,

you seem to have succeeded and have subordinates, but that's not it, you became their subordinates.

Whatever you do, it seems to be a necessary way to live your life. First, not complaining. Second, it's a way to use empathy.

That's why global companies seem to be trying to find consensus by using all means and methods even when coming up with a phrase.  I think success that doesn't happen in a day seems to be achieved with these small details.

4. Focus on the minority.

And focus on a small number of followers at least once. Why they like the things you do. That's a skill that works. If you want to increase the customer base of your business, you can cheat and lie or mobilize fake customers. It doesn't make you wonder while bragging. The only way is to work hard to create a meaningful community and deliver value to everyone. This is what you call a strategy, okay?

One more thing is that many people complain. There aren't many customers. How can you shamelessly want so many customers? Without replying to 10 comments left by a small number of customers. Twitter was the most famous platform when no one knew my name from 2007 to 2011. I replied to every single one of them every day. To all the comments that mentioned me. And I fell asleep at 3 or 4 a.m. I didn't even sleep before I replied to all of them. That's how I started my own business.

Everyone only wants something shiny and expensive, but they don't try to do anything that doesn't look good. It's not understanding how the world works. There is no shortcut to success. You can't steal this, you don't have a tip for success. You just have to act. If you sat down and focused on what I was saying, then my last question is, will you remain in a position to tease me about you in 7 years?

Like the last question he asked, who will laugh at because he doesn't act after seven years.

And someone who tries to come and somehow changes his perspective and achieves success.

I will try to be the latter.
